South Cariboo volleyball teams come together for elementry school tourney

A trio of South Cariboo elementary schools served up some fierce competition on the volleyball court in their annual Grades 6-7 volleyball tournament, Nov. 30 and Dec. 2.

Horse Lake hosted the Grade 6 competition on Nov. 30 with six teams eager to take home the title.

First place went to Horse Lake, and Mile 108 was second. 100 Mile Elementary finished in third place.

Each of the participating schools entered two teams.

On Dec. 2, the action shifted to Mile 108 school for the Grade 7 tournament where the host team took first place, followed by 100 Mile in second and Horse Lake in third.
