The Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games is still looking for volunteers in specific areas.
Of need are volunteers at the Biathlon competition held at the Telemark Nordic Club in West Kelowna.
Volunteers are required for all three days of competition (February 26-28). There are a variety of positions available including target pullers, scorers, course controllers, penalty loop counters and start and finish line assistants. Training will be provided at the venues. Volunteers are required for shifts between 8 a.m. and noon.
Biathlon combines cross country skiing and precision target shooting making the combination challenging and and exciting event. The BC Winter Games competition will see some of the best junior (13 to 14 years old) and senior (15 to 16 years old) athletes in the province.
Volunteer positions are also still available in drivers for courtesy cars and Games photographers in the Promotions Directorate.

The Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games will prove to be a memorable event for BC’s best developing athletes, coaches, and officials from Feb. 25 to 28. Competition will take place in 17 sports.
This will be the fourth time Penticton has hosted the BC Games. The city was the host of the inaugural BC Summer Games in 1978, the 1990 BC Winter Games and the 1995 BC Summer Games.
