The Walnut Grove Gators were headed into the quarter-finals at the B.C. High School Basketball Championships, being held at the LEC.
Walnut Grove was set to face Holy Cross at 7 p.m. on Friday.
If the Gators are successful, they will go on to the gold medal match on Saturday, against either Kelowna or Oak Bay.
The final games for the podium spots will be held on Saturday.
