The West Kelowna Warriors are headed to their first ever BCHL championship final.
Kylar Hope’s second goal of the game at 19:03 of overtime pushed the Warriors to a 3-2 victory over the Nanaimo Clippers Tuesday at Royal LePage Place to close out the third round of the post season.
The Warriors will face the Chilliwack Chiefs in the best-of-seven BCHL final which begins Friday in Chilliwack.
In the three-team playoff format of division champs, the Chiefs and Warriors were the first two teams to reach three victories, while the Clippers, with just two, are eliminated.
