The West Kelowna Warriors will be looking for a little payback Wednesday night when they pay a visit to the South Okanagan Events Centre.

At 7 p.m., the Warriors (16-11-0-1) will battle the Interior rival Penticton Vees (17-5-1-2) in BCHL action.

The last time the teams met, the Vees routed West Kelowna 11-3 on Nov. 17 at Prospera Place.

Penticton has won two of three meetings between the clubs this season.

The Warriors are coming off a weekend of mixed results on home ice. On Friday, the Warriors went 4-for-4 on the power play and scored five times in the third to take care of the Merritt Centennials 7-2.

Goalie Nik Amundrud made his return to the lineup after missing nine games due to injury and was solid in the Warriors crease making 35 saves against the Cents.

On Saturday at Royal LePage Place, West Kelowna remained winless in four tries against Vernon this season, losing 4-2 to the first place Vipers.

The Warriors next home action is Saturday, Dec. 2 against the Wenatchee Wild.
