The Canadian Waterman Festival, presented by Compass Adventure, goes this Saturday, Aug. 18.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Comox Marina Park in the main gazebo.
This will be followed by a “mass paddle” led by the Kʼomox First Nation Ceremonial Canoe. All paddlers are welcome. There will also be an opportunity to try the latest stand-up paddle boards free.
Registration for the paddle will be at 10 a.m. at the Comox Marina Park.
