This weekend, Quesnel will host a trio of Olympians.
The Waveriders Swim Club has invited the three Canadian athletes who competed at the Olympics as swimmers to give the team a bit of coaching from some athletes who really know their stuff.
Brent Hayden, Scott Dickens and Tanya Hunks, who have each captured medals in a variety of games, will spearhead the swimming camp on Saturday, giving the swimmers tips on how to improve both in and out of the pool.
Saturday, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., the club will host a dinner with the Olympians which is open to the public. Tickets ae $30 each.
