West Fraser defeated the Gibraltar Copper Barons in thrilling fashion late last month to claim the title.

After the Copper Barons tied the game with seven seconds left in the third period teams went to a five minute overtime frame where nothing was settled.

A five-player shootout was used to decide the game where Tyler Perry and Cary Olson both tallied to lift West Fraser to the 4-3 victory.

Scoring in the contest for West Fraser were Perry with two goals and Eric Berkelaar.

In the third-place game it was Pinnacle Pellet, the regular season winner, upending the Mount Polley Copperheads, 10-7.

Eric Hilker scored four times, while Gage Hutchins notched a hattrick for Pinnacle Pellet in the winning effort.

Other teams in the league include the Gibraltar Copper Kings,  and River West Forest Products.
