Western Canada Summer Games tickets are now on sale.
Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies cost $25 for adults and $15 for seniors and children age 12 and under.
“The 2011 Western Canada Summer Games opening and closing ceremonies in Kamloops will be a grand celebration of athleticism and spirit,” said Larry Read, media chair for the Games.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Aug. 5 at Interior Savings Centre (ISC). The closing ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Aug. 14 at ISC.
Amy Baskin and Alan Corbishley are producing both ceremonies. The Ceremonies will celebrate sport, regional diversities and Kamloops’ First Nations history.
A two-week Games’ pass costs $25; a one-week pass $15. Single-day passes will be for sale at all venues for $5.
Tickets are on sale at the Kamloops Ticketmaster Box Office at ISC or at any Ticketmaster outlet.
Cycling, golf and triathlon are courtesy events that do not require tickets.
