Williams Lake begins KIBHT bid Jan. 1

The bantam tier two Williams Lake Timberwolves will play in the annual Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament starting Jan. 1.

The bantam tier two Williams Lake Bantam Timberwolves will play in the annual Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament (KIBIHT) beginning New Year’s Day.

The event is an invitational tournament featuring some of the best teams in the province, Western Canada and Northwestern U.S.

Williams Lake kicks off its schedule with a tilt against North Delta Sun Devils on Jan. 1, to be played at the home of the Kamloops Blazers, the Interior Savings Centre.

On Jan. 2 the T-wolves meet the Kelowna Rockets and the Penticton Vees.

Further games will be scheduled from Jan. 3-5 depending on the results from round robin games.

KIBIHT runs from Jan. 1 to Jan. 5 at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre, Interior Savings Centre and Memorial Arena.
