The Timberline Jr. Boys basketball team defended their home court, beating Alberni District Secondary 42-35 Tuesday.
The Wolves jumped out to a 9-0 lead and maintained control for the rest of the game.
It was a solid effort from the entire squad with some stifling defence at key moments.
Point guard Brodie Comerford led all scorers with 16.
The Wolves’ next home game is Jan. 17 vs. Powell River.
