Wolves win at home against Trail in hoop action

Both the grade 8 and junior girls GFSS basketball teams won on Wednesday.

Both the grade 8 and junior girls GFSS basketball teams won on Wednesday at home against the J.L. Crowe Hawks from Trail.

The grade 8’s won handily 42-14 led by 15 points from Kelsa Leslie, while the juniors won 32-24 paced by eight points by Tara Makortoff.

The junior Wolves travel to Osoyoos this weekend for the Desert Classic tournament where they’ll play games against Merritt, Barriere and the host Osoyoos Rattlers.
