Port Alberni remains in eighth place with a 1–4 record in Mid-Island Women’s Soccer League play.
Port Alberni was on the losing end of a pair of 5–0 shutouts, to Cermaq Outlaws on Sept. 28 and Oceanside on Oct. 5.
Cermaq leads the league with a 5–0 record.
Teams take a break this weekend for Thanksgiving. Port Alberni is back on the pitch in Willow Point Oct. 19 to face Campbell River FC.
Their next home game is Nov. 2 against Nanaimo Wheatys, 2 p.m. at the Alberni District Secondary School field.
