It was another close match at the Eaglecrest Golf Course in Qualicum Beach as the mens’ and ladies’ clubs got together for their annual Battle of the Sexes last week.
Playing under the match play scramble rules, teams battled it out to see who would win the most holes out of all the pairings.
After all the dust had settled, the women came away with the victory, winning 10.5 to 8.5 over the men.
In total, there were 38 women that rose to the challenge this year, looking to have a pink ball on top of the trophy for the following year.
After their win, the ladies were able to take the blue ball off the top of the trophy, placing their pink ball in its spot until next year, when they do it all over again.
