Cumberland Cranked Girls is hosting Canada’s largest women’s mountain bike festival from July 27-30.

Expecting around 70 women, the Cranked Girls Cumberland Women’s Bike Fest consists of skills clinics for five different levels, beginner through advanced, along with discussion sessions and talks on a variety of social issues – from the evolving role of women in modern society, to bridging the gap between outdoor communities and humanitarianism.

The weekend will also host barbecues, bike maintenance sessions and an apres dance party. Cranked Girls has partnered with Whistler’s Anita Naidu, legendary bike coach, award-winning humanitarian and frequent keynote speaker on social issues, to bring the festival to the Comox Valley.

Due to the high demand, more spaces have been opened and there is now a co-ed clinic added on the festival as well. To sign up or for more info, email Christine at crankedgirls@gmail.com
