Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Lorne Doerkson (right) brought the family of Carter Vigh including his siblings Daxton Vigh, Cadence Vigh and his parents Amber Vigh and James Vigh to Victoria on Monday, May 13 to meet members of the B.C. parliament including speaker of the house Raj Chouhan (centre). Doerkson wanted the Vigh family there as he introduced Carter’s Law, an amendment to the B.C. Wildfire Act that is designed to protect people with breathing problems from wildfire smoke.
