The West Kootenay Sixers slo-pitch team captured silver at the 55-plus 2019 BC Games in Kelowna on the weekend. After winning gold at the 2018 Games, the Sixers lost to Kamloops 22-17 in the final after going 5-1-1 in the round robin, that included a win against the gold-medal team. Greater Trail athletes excel for Zone 6 West Kootenay-Boundary at 55+ BC Games

The West Kootenay Sixers slo-pitch team captured silver at the 55-plus 2019 BC Games in Kelowna on the weekend. After winning gold at the 2018 Games, the Sixers lost to Kamloops 22-17 in the final after going 5-1-1 in the round robin, that included a win against the gold-medal team. 55+ BC Games continue to grow

Vancouver Island North (Zone 2) is sending 451 participants, along with 31 supporters, to the 55+ BC Games next month in Kelowna. A total of 106 participants from the Comox Valley will take part in the multi-sport event that runs from Sept. 10-14.
