The tournament is non-competitive and encourages the kids to have fun and grow their hockey skills. There were three teams from Prince Rupert, two Terrace teams, two Kitimat teams, as well as teams from Smithers, Houston and Hazelton.

The Hoses led the Guns 3-0 at one point, but the Guns rallied to tie the game in the dying minutes of the game to make it interesting. Approximately $3,500 was raised for the Prince Rupert SPCA and the Prince Rupert Wildlife Rehab Shelter.
