The love of holiday lights moves Eric Johnson and his wife Linda McIntosh to light up their yard for the holiday season each year.

Blossom time may seem like a long way off, but the coordinators of the Blossom Pageant are already preparing for the pageant weekend.

Summerland teachers and their families were invited to a Teacher Appreciation Dinner, held at the United Church Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Robson offered a donation of $500 on behalf of the Penny Lane Society and Cassidy presented them with a cheque from the Summerland Rotary Club for the amount of $300. Budd pledged to match any donations made.
