A Nakusp youth takes advantage of the fixed floating dock at the Nakusp boat ramp to go fishing last week. The temporary extension of the boat ramp is complete and the floating dock has been fixed and sits in the water, where it should. Hank Scown, the president of the Nakusp Rod & Gun Club, noted the temporary nature of the ramp extension. “I guess what we need to see now is what becomes of that dock as the water level changes,” he said. “People will probably be happy with it until the water goes down again, and we’re back to square one.”
