100 Mile House resident David Oshanek, 85, waited a long time to make a hole-in-one but he finally aced the par 3, 150-yard eighth hole at the Marmot Ridge Golf Course. He started golfing when he was 10 years old.

100 Mile House resident David Oshanek, 85, waited a long time to make a hole-in-one but he finally aced the par 3, 150-yard eighth hole at the Marmot Ridge Golf Course. He started golfing when he was 10 years old.

The Panthers swarmed the host’s net throughout the game and went home with a 5-3 victory. The Wranglers were down 3-0 after 20 minutes, tied it 3-3 at the end of 40, but couldn’t find the back of the Port Moody net in the third.

Wherley, who is a Cariboo Agility Team member helped Dizzy garner enough points to the Masters Standard class at this event.
Lee Lumb of Coldstream penned the sheep with her dog Colt in the Open class. Lumb is an excellent handler and well-known judge who runs a training facility at her home in Coldstream. Last year, she attended the World Sheepdog Trial in Scotland.

Trailing by a goal, Keller got the ball into the box in front of the net and 100 Mile applied a lot of pressure – eventually a penalty was called and a successful penalty kick knotted the score at two apiece.
