Wednesday night’s lightning storm destroyed a transformer on Jurgen and Dale Peter’s property in Brookswood. Neighbours, including eight-year-old Brailea Boice and her four-year-old sister, Aubrey, came over Thursday morning to help with clean-up. The strike also damaged a fir tree (below) and smashed a brick wall on the property.
