It was fun for the whole family.
The 2011 Burns Lake and District Trade Show was held over two days last weekend at the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena.
The trade show featured 62 booths occupied by local businesses, local government and groups as well as outdoor car, truck, snowmobile and bike displays and the opportunity to try your hand at some indoor mini golf.
According to Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce president Jennifer Briand, the 2011 trade show was a complete success. Approximately 600 people passed through the gates to come and see what was on offer. “We had great support from both local and out of town businesses as well as guests attending the event,” Briand said to Lakes District News.
By the end of the opening night, over 250 people had already attended the trade show.
“I think it was a very successful event, we also had over $2,000 of door prizes donated by local businesses,” she added.
