Ken Keis’ English teacher told him he would never amount to anything.

Today, Keis, an Abbotsford resident, has a PhD in leadership and management, runs a consulting company, and has written several books and more than 500 articles.

In his new book, The Quest For Purpose, Keis says he was able to earn his doctorate by understanding and harnessing his own unique learning style and developing a winning mind-set.

The Quest For Purpose is a book about personal fulfillment, self-discovery, and the journey to find meaning and significance.

Keis, author of Why Aren’t You More Like Me? and Deliberate Leadership, provides readers with an essential tool-kit of proven assessments, research, and sustainable strategies to discover what they were meant to do.

He takes readers who are searching for meaning on a structured journey to learn what excites and engages them, and create an action plan for their vision.

In the book, he explains why motivation is a myth and provides scientifically researched tools for overcoming circumstances to live a life full of meaning, significance, and purpose.

A local author, speaker, and consultant, Keis has a passion for helping people unlock their life’s purpose.

In Quest for Purpose, he uses his high school experience, and how he overcame it, as an example of how people can succeed once they understand their unique strengths and qualities.

The book, which launched Dec. 2, is published by CRG Consulting Resource Group International Inc., a consulting company that specializes in assessments designed to aid career and personal success.
