The company that manages the Abbotsford Centre will change names from Global Spectrum to Spectra, the parent company Comcast Spectacor said in a press release.
Comcast Spectacor announced that its three divisions – Global Spectrum, Ovations Food Services and Paciolan – will now operate as Spectra, a singular new brand.
Now, Comcast Spectacor will consist of three primary businesses – the Philadelphia Flyers, the Wells Fargo Center and the new Spectra. Spectra will have three divisions – venue management (formerly Global Spectrum), food services and hospitality (formerly Ovations Food Services), and ticketing and fan engagement (formerly Paciolan).
The change will impact both the Abbotsford Centre, where Spectra provides venue management, and the Abbotsford Airport, where it provides ticketing and fan engagement services.
“Spectra is all about creating unforgettable moments for fans,” said Dave Scott, president of Comcast Spectacor. “We can do that best with all services under one umbrella to provide end-to-end solutions for venues, redefining fan experiences everywhere.”
