A new buy local campaign is getting underway in Clearwater in time for Christmas, according to District of Clearwater chief administrative officer Leslie Groulx.
Entry cards are available at about 20 local businesses. Contestants can get their card stamped by spending a minimum of $20 per visit to one of the participating businesses. Once they accumulate 10 stamps on their card they can enter it into the draw.
Completed entry cards can be dropped off at participating businesses. The contest begins Nov. 14 and deadline to enter your card is Dec. 19.

The draw will take place on Dec. 20 at Dutch Lake Community Centre at 11 a.m.
All entries received by the deadline will be combined for three prize draws. First prize is $750, second prize is $500 and third prize is $250 in Clearwater Bucks.
The Clearwater Bucks will have no cash value, are non-transferable, and must be used in exchange for goods and services only from the participating businesses.
All purchases will be final, and the Clearwater Bucks will expire on Feb. 28.
Winners will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form.
