The Sumas Regional Consortium for High Tech (SRCTec) is hosting its second annual AG-Tech Trade Show & Mixer on Oct. 26 at the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford from 1 to 5 p.m.. Raymond Szabada, Founder and Chairman of the Board of SRCTec, encourages everyone in the agricultural sector, including AG Tech and local industry players, to attend.
“There is a surprising and extremely sophisticated level of new technology with huge benefits to ag growers and producers. This event will showcase the newest innovations in the agri-tech industry, as well as providing learning and networking opportunities,” Szabada said.
Pat Brady of Genome BC, Krystine McIinnes of Athena Organic Farms, and Peter Van der Gracht of Wavefront will speak at the event.
SRCTec is a non-profit agency based in Mission, dedicated to facilitating innovation and entrepreneurial ventures in the Fraser Valley. It is the only organization in B.C that offers agri-tech specific venture acceleration, and has now supported more than 30 ventures with training, mentorship, and access to capital.
