Aldergrove Financial Group was formally acknowledged and celebrated at Langley Lodge on November 15

Aldergrove Financial Group was formally acknowledged and celebrated at Langley Lodge on November 15 for their community leadership gift of $120,000.

The financial support received from Aldergrove Financial Group was significant and in appreciation, Langley Lodge will be holding a ceremony to unveil a plaque that marks the occasion. The new garden courtyard at the complex care home will be given the name of Aldergrove Financial Group Garden Courtyard.

“We’re honoured to have the beautiful garden courtyard named after Aldergrove Financial Group. It’s a place all residents and their families can enjoy,” says Aldergrove Credit Union CEO Gus K Hartl.

“Our donation has helped the residents of the Langley Lodge tremendously. Not only can you see the improvements to the building, our donation has helped to sustain therapeutic recreation services – all of which are what make the Langley Lodge a home,” said Hartl.

The event was attended by residents and their families. They recognize the quality of life that they experience at Langley Lodge is made possible because of the kindness shown by donors.

“Aldergrove Financial Group has shown corporate leadership through their generous support of Langley Lodge Seniors Residential Care,” said Debra Hauptman, executive director of Langley Care Society.  “Aldergrove Financial Group are active partners in creating a safe, comfortable and elegant home for the elderly residents of Langley Lodge”.

“Langley Lodge and our residents are pleased to be the recipients of the  Aldergrove Financial Group’s philanthropic initiative,” said president of Langley Care Society, Terry Metcalfe. “The new Garden Courtyard is a demonstration of the Aldergrove Financial Group’s genuine interest in the well-being of the elderly citizens in our community.
