Lisa Kirk is delighted to show her artwork at Blue Moon Estate Winery on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 1-4 p.m.

Join us for this pre-Christmas event, the opening reception, of Star Light, Star Bright, I Wish I May I Wish I Might.

Transport yourself to another world through art, wine and good cheer. Imagine yourself sipping delicious wines, nibbling on appies, viewing art and getting some holiday shopping done with ease, all while immersing yourself in an event filled with art and inspiration.

Kirk’s art is in small and large formats, art notebooks and art cards. Participants can stock up on award-winning wines and ciders, and a unique selection of local food items, gift certificate and baskets.

Kirk is an intuitive mixed-media artist and facilitator of pure process art who loves to experiment and play with possibilities in many art forms. Those who attended her Garden Art Show in August can attest to the joy-filled experience of surrounding oneself with Kirk’s art. She hopes the show will immerse people in the wonder of the stars and universe above.

The winery is located five minutes from downtown Courtenay at 4905 Darcy Rd.

If you are unable to make it to the opening, the winery will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. through Dec. 21 or by appointment. Call (250) 338-9765. For more information visit www.bluemoonwinery.ca.
