The rumours are incorrect.
Randy Williams, owner of the Salmon Arm SilverBacks, was quick to deny that the team is for sale when asked by the Observer Thursday about the rumours circulating.
“All I can tell you is the rumours are false, the team is not for sale and never has been for sale.”
The latest rumour suggested that the team is on the block with Sicamous’ Shea Weber one of the potential buyers.
