On May 27, Clinton Integris Credit Union will be hosting a barbecue at the branch office and is inviting ranchers and farmers to bring their branding irons to brand a beautiful log bench that will be permanently installed in front of the branch.
The bench was hand crafted by Lee Longstreet who donated it to the 2015 PAC Auction.
Allan Bolster purchased it at the auction and then donated it to Integris so the local ranchers could place their brands on it.
It will truly be a community bench and we hope that folks will come out on May 27 during Western Heritage Week. Folks can come for a hamburger and burn their brands into the bench before they head down to the Old Timers Tea.
All community members are welcome to participate, if you don’t have a brand, come for a visit and a burger. The branding and barbecue event will be from 11a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thank you to the community who helped Integris raise close to $450 at the April barbecue to put towards a fireworks display for the 2016 Halloween in the park.
