Revelstoke Mountain Resort joined the Mountain Collective, a group of 14 ski resorts that combined to offer a joint pass.
The Mountain Collective Pass allows two days skiing at each of RMR, Lake Louise/Sunshine Village, and Whistler/Blackcomb in Canada; Alta/Snowbird, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Stowe Sun Valley, Taos, and Telluride in the United States; Coronet Peak/The Remarkables in New Zealand; and Thredbo in Australia.
It also offers deals at Chamonix in France, Valle Nevado in Chile, and Hakuba in Japan.
The pass sells for $409 USD ($536.40 CDN as of writing), which is good for up to 28 days of skiing, if you can make it to each resort.
The move also means RMR season pass holders get 50 per cent off day tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts.
The collective was set up as a way for the resort’s to compete with Vail Resort’s Epic Pass, which provides unlimited skiing at 13 resorts for $809 USD.
On Monday, Vail announced it was buying Whistler/Blackcomb, the biggest ski resort in North America.
RMR announced it was joining the Mountain Collective on the day its own season pass price jumped to $869 from $829.
