There were a number of local winners during the eighth annual Southern Interior Construction Association Commercial Building Awards Thursday.
New institutional, commercial, industrial building, multi/single family, recreational or renovation projects must have been completed between July 31, 2015 and July 31, 2016 were eligible.
In the industrial category, the award went to Skogies Express Car Wash of Vernon, while the office category was won by Vernon’s Eastgate Building of Vernon.
The Lakestone pool amenity building in Lake Country topped the recreational/resort category while in the retail category, the award went to Callahan Lake Country Commercial of Lake Country.
For wood construction, top honours went to the Splatsin Community Centre in Enderby while Vernon Optometry won the office category.
