Hockey legend Trevor Linden, along with Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts, will officially open Club 16 – Trevor Linden Fitness at a VIP ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 4:30 p.m. at Central City Shopping Centre in Surrey.
The new 19,400-square-foot club has state-of-the-art equipment, a separate She’s Fit Women’s section and sun tanning studios.
“We can’t wait to be part of the Surrey community,” said Trevor Linden. “Getting into shape should be fun, regardless of your fitness level or experience. So, we’ve created an affordable, comfortable club where the atmosphere is friendly and the intimidation factor is reduced. We can’t wait to welcome our new members in Surrey.”
Bill Rempel, vice-president and general manager of Blackwood Partners – the property managers for Central City Shopping Centre – said, “We are more than pleased to have Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness join our exciting tenant mix at Central City. The addition of this first-class facility aligns with our strategy in making Central City a true destination location in our new and emerging downtown core.”
Tours and refreshments will be provided immediately following the ribbon cutting.
