The Langley Chamber of Commerce is reprising its informal “meet and greet” in the Aldergrove community this coming week.
The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce invites Aldergrove residents and businesspeople to be their guests for an afternoon at Bob’s Steakhouse, Bar & Deli on Thursday, June 1.
The afternoon will be filled with networking, complimentary appetizers and introductions, hosted by the Chamber’s Aldergrove community director, Scott Waddle, and other members of the board of directors.
“The Chamber put on several successful Networking open house events last year so we are continuing them again this year as a way for our board of directors to connect with chamber members in their own neighbourhoods,” said chamber president, Scott Johnston.
“This event gives members who do business within the Aldergrove borders a chance to meet their chamber community director, Scott Waddle, and get their questions answered.”
Scott Waddle started Precision Auto Service in 1997, and has been a participant in many regional and national organizations within the automotive, business and educational fields during that time. Being a small businesses person with a local client base and staff, and having a young family, it has been an obvious choice to be involved in the community at any level he can participate in. This commitment has proven to pay for itself repeatedly from both a business and personal point of view.
The Aldergrove Networking Open House will take place on Thursday, June 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bob’s Steakhouse, Bar & Deli, 27083 Fraser Highway, Aldergrove.
The open house is free for all guests to attend but an event pre-registration is required. People can register by calling the chamber office at 604-371-3370 or by visiting the chamber website at www.langleychamber.com.
