Historic
Chilcotin Lodge
Our recipient for the Chatter is the Historic Chilcotin Lodge, a short 30-minute drive west of Williams Lake on Highway 20.
Kurt, Kris, and I (Brenda) came from Salmon Arm, B.C. and we are pleased to boast that we bake delicious cinnamon rolls!
We are the family who now own the Historic Chilcotin Lodge. We have been here since April 2017.
The Lodge is a B&B and a Hunting & Fishing Lodge (we’ve brought it back to this … the hunting part).
We have 10 rooms and nine RV sites to accommodate events, large families, small weddings, club activities, quilters, or knitters for the weekend and any other activity that you would need a big lodge for.
We are not open as a restaurant as we want to focus more on the lodge lifestyle and B&B accommodations. However, we will definitely serve dinner to those who stay in the lodge.
Kurt and I have been in the hospitality business since 1987 where we have run motels, gas stations, restaurants, and even started up our own franchise (Chestor’s House of Cinnamon Inc.).
We love the Chamber luncheon meetings to meet and greet with the other members and to keep in touch with the community.
