The CHBA FV has announced the finalists for the 2017 Housing Awards of Excellence.

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Fraser Valley (CHBA FV) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2017 Housing Awards of Excellence.

Housing Awards of Excellence is a local program that highlights excellence in home building and renovation in the Fraser Valley.

To be eligible for an award, members of the CHBA FV submitted entries that were built, renovated, developed, created and or marketed during the period of Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 1, 2016.

The finalists and winners were selected by a panel of industry professionals throughout Canada. The categories represent the diverse aspects of the industry, including new residential construction, renovation and energy-efficiency.

“We are proud to extend the housing awards program to our local members whom continue to build high-caliber projects. Awards are a distinct honour that our members have long awaited for.” said Christy MacLeod, Executive Director of the CHBA FV. “We are pleased to have a very strong year of entries and finalists, and we look forward to announcing the winners at the Gala.”

The Inaugural Gala will be held on Feb. 4 at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre in Abbotsford.

The Gala will host industry professionals for dinner, entertainment, the awards presentation and an after-party reception. Ticket for the Gala are available to purchase on the CHBA FV website.

“Join us Feb. 4 to celebrate the winners at our first ever Housing Awards of Excellence Gala – we are excited to honour the excellent work our builder and renovators members – and the suppliers that make the work possible. Thank you to all of our members who submitted entries this year,” said Lesa Lacey, President of the CHBA FV.

The finalists of the 2017 Fraser Valley Housing Awards of Excellence can be seen at their Facebook page here.
