Cloverdale BIA to look forward at annual general meeting

Members of the Cloverdale Business Improvement Association will be gathering for the 2012 annual general meeting next Thursday.

The June 28 meeting is a chance for members to hear what the association has planned for 2012 and 2013, as well as get up to speed on issues impacting the historic town centre.

Topics include the Cloverdale West Village/Cloverdale Mall redevelopment plan, crime reduction, gateway signage, banners and more.

The Cloverdale BIA will also review the organization’s finances, plus outline a number of programs and activities that have taken place over the past year.

The meeting will also highlight past and upcoming joint projects with the Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce, including Cloverdale Rodeo Days, the upcoming Cloverdale Blueberry Festival and the Halloween Costume Parade.

The meeting runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cloverdale Legion, 17567 57 Avenue.
