A local pharmacist has been recognized for his contribution to his profession.
The B.C. Pharmacy Association has awarded Ken Foreman their 2012 Certificate of Recognition for Distinguished Service.
The award recognizes members who have served on the committee or board of directors for more than five years.
Foreman has served six, or two terms, on the board and hasĀ been very involved in the association’s direction. He also served as past president of the BCPhA, and is a past-president of the College of Pharmacists of B.C. He played an important role in advancing the profession, from long-term care to negotiating the Pharmacy Services Agreement.
The annual BCPhA awards recognize pharmacists and others who have played an essential part in the profession. The awards were held in Victoria on May 25.
Foreman works at the regional office of Pharmasave Drugs (Pacific) Ltd., located at 5685 176 Street in Cloverdale.
