Since starting up in 2007, the products have increased in popularity, showing up not only at local grocery stores and shops, but Canada-wide
“Our business has grown expediently over the past few years, so we are looking for support to scale our company properly,” said founder Kiley Routley, who auditioned for the Dragon’s Den in Kelowna in March. “Maybe a possible franchise model as we make over 100 different products and we now also offer a re-fill program (at our storefront in Lavington) to cut down on single use packaging. Or we may just stick with a distribution model.”
The plan for the pitch to the Dragons is to showcase all the Back to Earth products, but highlighting the Canadian Kisameet Clay products.
Dragon’s Den airs on CBC and is currently in season 13.
