The Fourth Annual South Cariboo Home Improvement Show and Third Annual Home-Based Business Show will be combined with the Outdoor & RV Show to make up the South Cariboo Mega Show.
The 2011 South Cariboo Mega Show takes place April 29-May 1 at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre and everyone is invited to come out and “get inspired at home or at play.”
A variety of vendors are lined up with booths and displays for all kinds of great products and services relating to the home, yard, garden, outdoors living and recreational vehicles and more.
“By combining the South Cariboo Home Improvement Show, Home-Based Business Show and the Outdoor & R.V. Show, we feel there will be something for everyone to enjoy,” says organizer Bev Lund.
The Home Improvement Show in the arena will have displays for decking, landscaping, gardening, pools, spas, geothermal systems, furniture, log home furnishings, home theatre systems and window coverings, says Lund.
“Rona is taking up a huge space to display all their products. I’m looking forward to browsing the booths myself.”
The Home-Based Business area in the arena will have jewelry, web design, baby wear, photography, cosmetics, health products, handicrafts and plenty of other unique items, she adds.
“There’s a little bit of everything, including local clubs having information booths.”
Lund says the Outdoor & RV Show will take up half the parking lot as well as and will display everything from RVs, motor homes and trailers from fifth wheels to utility and outdoor sports equipment to check out.
Besides all the browsing and purchasing of products at the different vendors and displays, there will also be some great prizes to win.
“There will be draws to enter at most booths and other terrific draws throughout the show.”
Admission to the show is through a donation to KidSport, an organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to youths aged 18 and under.
“Please come and support the local businesses in the South Cariboo and get some great ideas and lots of inspiration.”
The South Cariboo Mega Show will be open 5-9 p.m., Friday (April 29), 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday.
