Commercial building sails through public hearing

Two-unit building will be built on 64 Avenue parking lot in Langley

The gas station has long disappeared, but a proposal to build a two-unit commercial building in its place sailed through a public hearing on Feb. 13.

Jim Pattison Developments has applied to rezone 3,000 square feet at 20255 64 Ave. The property is on the far west end of the parking lot used by Save on Foods and London Drugs shoppers.

The site of the former gas bar has been remediated, a Township staff report noted, and the building proposed for that location will be a single storey structure.
