Crime talk

Counterfeit goods and the danger such products can pose to the public and businesses will be discussed at a presentation hosted next week by the Surrey Board of Trade, City of Surrey’s Crime Reduction Strategy and the U.S. Consulate.

The Jan. 27 event will feature Rob Calia, senior director of counterfeiting and piracy for the Global Intellectual Property Center at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The presentation will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Surrey Board of Trade, 101-14439 104 Ave.
