The Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon received a funding boost last week, after a donation from Thrifty Foods.
The grocery store – located in South Surrey’s Morgan Crossing – presented a cheque to the foundation for $6,830. The money was raised at the annual Thrifty Foods Charity Golf Tournament last month.
