A presence on the Internet is increasingly important to the future of businesses, big and small.
As a result, the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free educational session Jan. 15 entitled Your Business and Google.
“Learn how to optimize your business’ search results on Google,” said Torrie Silverthorn, membership development and events co-ordinator for the chamber.
“A representative from Google will teach us how a simple Google search translates into new customers.”
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch to the event.
While the event is free, registration is required.
