The Shops at Morgan Crossing concluded its Canada Day celebration earlier this month with a $4,500 cheque presentation to the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society.
The funds were raised from the Shops’ second annual Car and Motorcycle Show, which was held June 5.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event and White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society,” marketing and events co-ordinator Leigh Ann Smith said in a release. “We are extremely heartened by the overwhelming response we received from the community and look forward to an even bigger show next year.”
