Honda Way is getting some new digs.
The latest addition to the Fraser Valley Auto Mall will be a 33,000-sq.ft. lot located by the east entrance, just off Mt. Lehman exit.
The new space will be nearly three times the size of Honda Way’s current facility, allowing for an upgrade from 11 service bays to 17, as well as greater showroom space that will allow 10 to 12 vehicles compared to the current four-car capacity.
With this expansion, the dealership’s general manager Brian Choo said a boost in employment is expected, specifically more technicians and salespeople.
“We have seen Abbotsford grow and are happy to see this growth,” Choo said. “This is a prime piece of property with great visibility.”
The project is backed by Honda Way owner Byron Hall. A ground-breaking ceremony was held June 17, with an expected completion date in May 2016, according to Choo.
