A long-serving local grocery store on Immel Street will close down on March 28.
The lease on the store has expired and Larry Wilson, who owns the business with his wife Karen, will not renew.
Wilson said he has owned the business for 19 years, but said financial reasons have led to the closure.
The loss of the 12,000-square-foot store in east Abbotsford will be “quite a blow to the community,” said Wilson.
He said he is thankful to all the customers who have visited the store over the years.
