Surrey Board of Trade’s annual Christmas Seasonal Sizzle Business Reception raised $1,500 for the Surrey Food Bank.
The Dec. 2 event, held at the Riverside Signature Banquet Hall and attended by more than 400 business people, also collected 400 pounds of food.
Proceeds were presented to food bank executive director Marilyn Herrmann and volunteers.
