Kingfisher Heliskiing set to Sparkle

Kingfisher Heliskiing teams up with Vernon's Sparkling Hill Resort.

Kingfisher Heliskiing has teamed up with Sparkling Hill Resort to offer the best of the back country and upscale après ski accommodation.

Kingfisher has access to 120,000 acres of alpine and tree-skiing in the Central Monashee Range and Kootenays.

“We are so excited to have our guests stay at Sparkling Hill and we can’t wait to show them some of the most amazing skiing terrain in the region,” said Tim Shenkariuk, Kingfisher co-owner.

After just one season, Kingfisher outgrew their existing accommodation arrangement, which led to the partnership with Sparkling Hill. The result is exclusive lodging for all multi-day heliskiing guests.

After a day of heliskiing in the deep, dry powder of the Monashees, guests can unwind in the rustic Gernots Bar, which will be exclusively reserved for Kingfisher guests. It features a stone hearth fireplace, private outdoor patio and stunning views of Okanagan Lake.

Heliskiing guests will also have full access to the 40,000 square-foot Kurspa, which has seven unique steams and saunas and an outdoor infinity pool.
